Follow these DIY installation steps:

1: Find the Perfect Fit

Our sink drain assembly is designed to accommodate all standard American kitchen sinks. The kit includes a basket strainer, locking nut, friction ring, brass tailpiece, and three unique gaskets for a leak-proof seal.

2: Discard the Old Drain

Start by disconnecting the drainpipe and removing the old strainer. Unscrew the fittings from the drainpipe and the nut beneath the basket strainer to carefully extract the strainer from the drain hole.

3: Prepare the New Drain

Position the foam gasket on the lip of the basket strainer. Place the basket strainer over the drain hole. Then, apply the thick rubber gasket on top, above the sink.

4: Install the New Drain

Press the strainer into the drain hole until it sits flush. The gaskets will create a watertight seal.

5: Secure Everything in Place

On the underside of the sink, apply the final plastic gasket. Now, screw the nut onto the basket strainer by turning it clockwise. Tighten the nut as much as possible by hand.

6: Final Tightening

With needlenose pliers, grip the slots at the bottom of the strainer to hold the basket steady. Using a basket wrench, tighten the nut as much as possible to ensure a secure seal.
